My cousin and his wife from Germany are visiting for a few days and have been watching me watch the polls and news over the past three days. I apologized for being so intent on the latest from here and there re the election and tried to explain how important all this is.

They replied that they knew all about its importance! About 87% of the people of Germany, according to something they read, want Obama to win. However, they think Americans are SO stupid that “that other guy” will win!

My cousin has dual citizenship and an US address, so we got him registered yesturday and he’ll vote next week before leaving for Germany.
