Ohhh get's getting ugly on the campaign trail. And nobody knows how ugly better than John McCain's make-up artist Tifanie White whose been paid $5,583.43 for her services, according to the Federal Election Commission. Tifanie (love the spelling!) was formerly on the glam squad of American Idol. All this fanciness for man who complains about Obama's celebrity status and once snapped at wife Cindy:
At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you c**t.
Meanwhile, the National Enquirer has revealed the identity of Sarah Palin's mystery man, Brad Hanson, a city council member in the nearby town of Palmer, who was hubby Todd's partner in a snowmobile business and kept Sarah company bonding over small town politics during those loooong Alska nights while the First Dude was away on business. Reveals the inevitable insider:
Todd was away on business a lot and Sarah felt lonely. Brad was a good listener, and Sarah talked to him at length. Eventually, she realized she was falling in love with him.
Brad Hanson, being a gentleman, of course denies this:
Todd and I still friends. We own a cabin together. I talked to him four times this week. Does that sound like there was a disagreement?
Actually the disagreement was in 1996 when according to the Enquirer, the First Dude "found out about the affair and was so mad he broke up their partnership at the snowmobile dealership." Whoa, harsh.
But time heals all wounds. And in McCain's case make-up makes the man.

Like cuddly councilman Todd Hanson who the Enquirer claims was Mayor Sarah’s gentleman caller while First Dude was busy elsewhere– Richter is part owner in some cabin with the Palins.
Instead of stocks folks up in Wasilla invest in land. And snowmobile dealerships.

Actually, yes. There’s a short diary on KOS showing two videos..one from the GOP convention and one from yesterday. This face is noticeably thinner, less round and his left eye is drooping. Now, he’s blinking a lot in both, but I think he wears contact lenses(I’ve seen old pix of him wearing actual specs so I’m assuming that he’s wearing lenses - probably hard ones - and that is what is making him blink as well as seem light sensitive. But the eye itself is noticeably drooping down.

Well the Federal Elections Commission has given Palin another break…it postponed the time she needs to submit her financial records (Oct 4th). Apparently Palin needed more time to sort through the financial chaos…a perfect metaphor for how Republicans ran this country!
But if Palin can get more time why does Congress have to come up with a $700 billion plan even faster?
And since John McCain is apparently receiving critical economic advice from multi-millionair socialite Lady Rothschild, when is Cindy McCain gonna reveal HER financial records? Why is she keeping them so secret?
So sorry to go OT so early in the thread, but just wanted to let folks here know that Esten Maxwell is back in children’s hospital. Just got an update this morning. According to Mel’s update, “It’s the typical coughing jags, fever and low counts that have put us here.” Esten just lost a 4 year old friend to cancer last week.
On a better note, if he can get out of the hospital by Tuesday, he’s scheduled to go to Disneyland, a trip courtesy of the Make a Wish people. Also, he was given a huge party by Olympic Steel in Siler City on Monday. I’m assuming it was a benefit to help defray the unimaginable cost burden on this family. Please keep little Esten and Tommy Yum (Maxwell) in your hearts and minds. The only thing I can think of is the power of positive thinking.

I haven’t seen any reporting from anyone who has looked at that file. Which I find strange - because IIRC, the Motion to Seal was filed on or about 9-3-08, which was within a few days of Mrs. Palin being tapped for the V.P. candidacy. So one pretty much must think that there’s something interesting in there….

A friend of mine does makeup, for some serious actresses whose names you’d know and which I won’t reveal b/c it would serve no one well and burn my pseudonymity. The makeup artist knows all - who they’re sleeping with, whether they’re drunked or drugged up, if the husband is sleeping around, everything. They have to, because they have to be able to hide the tracks of the tears … or of anything else.

Isn’t it obvious that Bush ‘thumbing his nose’ at the Chinese - a huge trading partner and part owner of US - as he careens the Bus towards open skies is a sign that he’s not responding to inputs Rationally or Sensibly.
Bush has US in a slow-speed chase towards a place our Country has never been before - Nowhere.
