His adversary couldn’t answer the question yet had been using the word liberal as a club during a debate on politics.

I used a similar tact to convince my brother-in-law that he’s actually a progressive and not a conservative republican. “Raising taxes” is always the issue so I ask how much their taxes have gone down over the past 8 years, and if they factored in increased utility fees, cost of gasoline and food. Gets them every time.

Great job Jane. I went to bloggingheads and listened to a lot but not all of the two of you. You certainly held your own. Ann should debate someone of her own intelligence level. I agree with you about the coffee because after sixty minutes she still wasn’t slurring her words.

Palin is a fundamentalist Christian who is against abortion in all circumstances. She has vetoed funding in a state with budget surplus for aid to pregnant teenagers. She advocates teaching superstition in science classrooms, which would only find advocacy elsewhere in fundamentalist Islamic regimes; she has signed on to the let them eat cake health insurance policy of her Party ticket; she is in sync with McCain on keeping tax breaks for those corporations that send jobs overseas; she has no idea what our foreign policy is anywhere other than what she has been told in recent days; she read a speech which contained out and out fabrications about both her and Senator Obama’s experience. She refuses to be interviewed by the main stream press. She has a tendency to fly off the handle mistaking personal differences for government hiring practices.
She is what used to be called a knee jerk reactionary, a loose cannon. She’s at least as frightening as Dick Cheney because while he’s malevolent by intent and focused at it, shooting quail with buckshot for enjoyment, there is absolutely no predictability who or what will tweak Sarah Palin, when she’s up there in a helicopter shooting of rounds at caribou herds. The only thing I will attack her on as woman is this: she’s a trained pit bull hiding behind some lipstick.
