Republican Sen. John Cornyn, who finds himself stuck in a race within the margin of error with Democratic challenger Rick Noriega, put out an ad so comical, so utterly ridiculous, that it had to be spoofed (yes, the ad above was real). So the Noriega team took care of it for us, by actually pointing out "Big Bad John's" real record while showing Cornyn's own ad just for comic value.
One last point, can we get a psychologist to explain the Republican need to play dress up all the time? (see Rudy Giuliani and drag and George W. Bush and flight suit, to name just a few instances).

Good for the Noriega folks!
Great ad.
Brilliant, but in all honesty that was a slow pitch right down the middle from Cornhole, sorry…Cornyn. Still, one takes one’s opportunities where one can.
Why are so many Texas republican politicians such self-parodies? De Lay (the proper French spelling); Kay Bailey Hutchison (so stiff she might break, and clueless?); Cornyn, of course; Rick of-the-good-hair Perry…
Simply wonderful. I would PAY to see Big Bad John’s face the first time he saw that.
Boxturtle (bet it looked like the Coyote when the roadrunner trap backfires)

It’s funny. The Republicans try to come off as the Daddy party but really they’re just the Rich Spoiled Brat party, led by little boy George.
I’m no psychologist. My only explanation is they are fulfilling their secret unfulfilled dream to live as transvestites and/or join the Village People.

At least he doesn’t have a horse phobia like Bush. That’s the one I love, a pretend cowboy who’s afraid of horses.
I’s so glad team Noriega did this. They certainly were kind about it.
Now that’s heehawlarious! I hope Noriega gives him the boot!
