I know we have heard this many times, so I'll believe it when I see it. But apparently, three-dozen or so super-delegates are ready to endorse Obama right when the primaries end, and they are continuing to line up more:
To prepare for that eventuality, the Obama campaign has, for the first time, really, begun to bank delegates. Sources close to the campaign estimate that as many as three dozen Democratic superdelegates have privately pledged to announce their support for Obama on June 4 or 5. The campaign is determined that Obama not end the first week in June without securing the support of delegates numbering 2026 -- or 2210, as the case may be.

I can hardly wait to hear how the Clinton camp spins this.
Wll, after the primaries are over they won’t have any excuse for waiting, but as you say we’ll have to wait and see.
I can hardly wait to hear how Jane Hamsher, Christy Smith, and LHP LHP (ahm a big big sekrut) spin this.
I’d like to know say from the lawyers who are Lake puppy pups what the evidence is that Yale law grad (and currently disbarred attorney)Bill Clinton is using (nonspecified of course–there ain’t no Exhibit “A” for ole Bubbuh or Bubbess) as to the claim that Hillary is beating Obama in the general against McCain or his stupid claim that polls favorable to his wife are being supressed. Can Christy Smith or LHP show me the evidence that Hillary is beating McCain by any metric in the general more than Obama is? Can they show me that Hillary is beating Obama by any metric that is legal right now in the primary?
You can’t count Michigan and Florida’s delusional popular vote because most of the voters stayed home. I assume that all the women like Salon editress (is that the politically correct term for a female editor or is it editor?) Joan Walsh who now looks like someone stole her car everytime she shows up routinely break any agreement they sign or make becaue they believe Clinton should.
How dumb do you think Obama is going to be Saturday afternoon to give Hillary the delusion that she can claim popular votes in Michigan and Florida to shape her fairy tale wildly delusional metric?
If all you “Hillary now for McCain voters” want more Alitos vote McCain, but those of you who aren’t S. Ct. watchers are in for a big cold shower with each and every S. Ct term. Ginsberg and Stevens aren’t going to be able to bail you out.
And to Joan Walsh’s claim that Clintonistas will stay home in the general, there are black votes that can win swing states and Southern states that are going to stay home in droves if Clinton isn’t out by June 5. And to Jane Hamsher–you betcha–the bum’s rush is roaring down a street near you–she gets out of the race or she will be removed.
This thing ain’t stringing out until end of August to fuck Obama no how no way.
LHP can crow about how many ballots can happen at a convention all she likes. Maybe she can use it in her run for the President.
Let’s get the Clinton bullshit straight once in for all since the Clinton’s favorite sport is revisionist history. In Bill Clinton’s 1992 primary Paul Tsongas abandoned the primary because he suffered from the same tumor that Teddy Kennedy is now receiving targeted therapy, chemo, and radiation to treat. That left one Ralph Nadar. Bobby Kennedy won the California primary on June 4 and was shot then in the early AM on June 5, 1968 and on or about that anniversary in 2008 40 years to the day, Clinton will be bums rushed out of the race by a Super Delegate Rush. Get used to it.
To the Clintonistas including the 3 Musketeers at the Lake:
You believe:
Florida and Michigan will count all the way right as is, and Iowa Nevada and Maine don’t–and if you believe that expect Jane Hamsher to guard Tony Parker tomorrow night @Laker-Spurs. I hope she does well.
